Acting on behalf of the school’s owners and stakeholders, the Board establishes the organization’s mission, defines the outcomes the school exists to achieve, safeguards its biblical identity, ensures financial sustainability, and holds the Executive Director accountable for accomplishing those ends.
The Executive Director serves as the chief executive and educational leader of Flatirons Academy, faithfully stewarding the Mission and Ends established by the Board of Directors. Entrusted with the authority to lead the school within the Board’s policies, the Executive Director provides strategic vision, shapes organizational culture, and unifies staff around a shared purpose: forming students who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.
Working under the leadership of the Executive Director, the Executive Leadership Team provides strategic leadership for every area of school life: academics, student life, athletics, operations, enrollment, advancement, and finance, so that every part of Flatirons Academy works toward one unified, Christ-centered purpose.
The Student Success Team leads and strengthens the academic culture of the school, creating the conditions for every student to succeed. Central to that work is supporting and equipping teachers to maximize their impact in the classroom.
The Operations Team stewards the systems that support the mission: finance, admissions, communications, facilities, and technology.
Flatirons Academy is an accredited Christian liberal arts K–12 school located in Westminster, Colorado, affiliated with Flatirons Community Church.
