With theological study as the keystone of a meaningful education, students learn not only the knowledge and skills required for high school, but the tools of learning for a lifetime, trained in the key skills of a liberal arts education (theology, reading, composition, logical reasoning) and in the habits of an educated mind: executive functioning, metacognition, and personal responsibility.
Students take 5 core classes and 2 arts electives during the first 3 blocks of the day, alternating Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday. The shorter 4th block is reserved for co-curricular activity.

Theology is the "queen of the sciences" and the cornerstone of a Christian liberal arts education. Our theology program roots students in the Bible, provides a comprehensively Christian framework for understanding, and provides the skills to think theologically about all of life.
Our English program develops the literacy skills required for success in academics, effective citizenship, and lifelong study of the Bible. Systematic instruction in the threads of literacy that combine to create persuasive writers, clear communicators, and truthful story-tellers: vocabulary, syntax, organization, logic, rhetoric, and literary analysis.
A solid algebraic foundation so all students can access rigorous college-level math courses before they graduate. All students move toward completion of Algebra I by the end of eighth grade, with added support and challenge for continual growth no matter where they start. Students who master Algebra I are enrolled in Geometry in ninth grade.
A rigorous introduction to the fields of science that leave us in awe of the Creator. With a focus on the power and limitations of the scientific method, students learn through a balance of traditional lecture and hands-on experimentation and inquiry.
Our history program tells His-story as students learn the knowledge and skills required for diligent citizenship. Students don't just memorize facts, they learn the story of humanity's relationship to God and each other, a practical foundation of geographical knowledge, and a chronological framework for deeper investigation in high school.
All students are automatically enrolled in a pass/fail grade-level Liberal Arts Seminar each year, three classes that meet each Bison Friday: Reading, Language Expression, and Tutorial. Students build wide-ranging independent reading habits, meaningful composition from sentence fluency to formal logic, and the skills of an educated mind through the tutorial process.
