First Day of Practice

Absolutely NO participation is allowed (practice or competition) until athletic check-in is complete. All paperwork may be submitted ONLINE prior to start of 1st practice.  Please plan ahead.

The following paperwork is needed as part of the online athletic registration:

  1. Create Planet HS Student Account (HS ONLY)

  2. Submit 2019-2020 Flatirons Bison Athletic Form ONLINE (submit for each sport season)

  3. Submit Current physical & consent form (Upload within the Flatirons Bison Athletic Form)

     **Flatirons Physical Day is Thursday, July 25th 3-6pm, check the Flatirons Athletic Calendar for more info!

  4. Sport Fee (Flatirons Students will be billed via Smart Tuition, Non-Flatirons Students must pay online through the Flatirons Bison Athletic Form)

*Additional Forms for Returning Homeschoolers / Non-Flatirons student-athletes —

  • Upload a Copy of ADAMS 12 intent to homeschool form (valid for 1 yr starting August 1 / Upload into the Flatirons Bison Athletic Form)

    • *This form MUST BE ON FILE with Adams 12 school district by August 1 for all homeschool athletes regardless of sport season

  • Upload a Copy of Latest Transcripts (For incoming 10-12th grades / Upload into the Flatirons Bison Athletic Form)


*First Time Homeschoolers/ Non-Flatirons Student-Athletes are required to schedule an interview with Flatirons AD, Reed Doughty. Please have your High School transcripts available for this meeting.

Flatirons athletics are available primarily for student enrolled full-time at Flatirons Academy. In accordance with the the Colorado Revised Statutes and CHSAA bylaws, Flatirons Academy also welcomes participation from homeschooled students and students attending schools that do not offer the same sports as Flatirons Academy. These rules limit who is eligible to participate. *There is an additional fee of $100 per sport for student-athletes who are eligible to participate at Flatirons Academy but are not enrolled full-time at Flatirons Academy.
